A LITTLE WHITE FOR SPRING
Off to the Hunted Vintage launch tonight in Glasgow which was a great night with lots of snacks, drinks and of course gorgeous vintage clothes hand-picked from thrift stores in Paris and London..So cool!
I know it is probably far too early to be wearing summer dresses, especially in Glasgow- but I feel like we're in between seasons and it's hard to decide what to wear, especially as i've stopped shopping for the cold weather! I recently got this dress from Zara and i'm obsessed with it, I love the dropped hem! A white dress is an essential for Spring/Summer and I was saving it for a trip away at the start of June but then I thought..Why not just pair it with some winter accessories and try make it look weather appropriate?
I went for a khaki blazer which I bought in Mango two Autumns ago, It's still a staple in my wardrobe as a military blazer never goes out of fashion..and I love the gold detailing! I also wore my Public Desire Khaki boots, I thought I would of got a lot more wear out of these boots and I actually haven't..But I think spring is the perfect opportunity to wear these with bare legs and cute dresses like today!
For accessories I kept it classic with my Prada cinema sunglasses, my Louis Vuitton bag which goes amazingly with all things khaki and a mix of gold and silver jewellery including my Cartier watch and a selection of rings! I like to keep jewellery minimal and delicate!
I'm looking forward to sharing with you some more of my Spring/Summer wardrobe and how I transform it to be worn in cold weather such as today.. I can't wait to wear this dress again, I can think of a hundred different ways to style it..sandals, pumps, lace up's, nude, black, everything! A white dress is so versatile and literally goes with everything..It's so easy to wear and can be dressed up or down for any occasion!
