SILK FOR SPRING
En route to the opening of the Massimo Dutti Glasgow flagship store. I've already added lots of my favourite pieces to my wish list for SS16! Check out my post all about my first preview of the store here where you can see the gorgeous interior, new season goodies and what's on my wish list from the newest Glasgow shop now!
After hunting down this sold out item for weeks I've been waiting for the perfect opportunity to wear my rose gold "Coryn" silky duster coat from House of CB and the Massimo Dutti opening was definitely the perfect chance to show it off. This coat is for sure my favourite purchase for this spring. I love silk..I love long coats and I love rose gold..all my favourites mixed into one piece- I just can't get enough of it! You all might recognise this coat, it's been worn by the blogger queen Marianna Hewitt and Khloe Kardashian (style icon) twice..it's not often you see a member of the Kardashian's wearing something twice, but I don't blame her! Me on the other hand will be wearing this religiously throughout the next few months..I can't wait to style it with whites and different colours of denims!
As it's still March, I wasn't quite ready to pull out my lighter clothes just yet so I decided to keep to an all black outfit for the debut of this coat to make sure all focus stayed on this statement piece. I wore a black tailored strapless jumpsuit which is an essential to any girls wardrobe..it always comes in handy for when you don't want to look too over dressed but also not too casual..dress it up or down with different accessories! I wore it with my new Zara heels which are dupes for the gorgeous Gianvito Rossi perspex heels, my Gucci bag which added a little detail to the outfit with its gorgeous gold chain and my classic Céline sunnies!
To complete my outfit I added my newly favourite accessory.. my choker neck band! Because this jumpsuit is strapless I thought it would finish off my look nicely and not leave me looking too bare up top. This neck band also comes in all different colours and I think I might need to invest in a few more for my Spring/Summer wardrobe!
Exciting things to come..I'm collaborating with Maniére De Voir! I will be one of the new faces representing them on their social media platforms! Maniére De Voir are famous for their cool style- lots of leather, silver zips, distressed denim and croc embossed details. I've chosen my favourite pieces from their website and I cant wait to show you all how I style them. Coming to the blog very soon..! Check them out at: ManiereDeVoir.com
