A/W MUST HAVE - THE TEDDY COAT

WINTER IS HERE.

November has snuck up and our winter wardrobes are now in full force. I always opt for basic, warm outfits at this time of year. Effortless but still stylish. I think it is essential to invest in good quality coats and jackets to get you through winter. Quality over Quantity!

My A/W style year after year has always been simple basics layered with a statement coat, bag and shoes. My favourite style of coat this year has to be the teddy coat. It is everywhere! Designers are doing them (Max Mara teddy coat inspo), high streets are doing them and boutiques are doing them.

This camel teddy coat has to be the best quality I have found from all the teddies I have tried on in the past couple months. It is so thick and over-sized. I love an over-sized garment at this time of year I just think it looks so cool and luxurious. You literally don’t need to think about what you are wearing under this coat..the coat is the outfit!

MAKE A STATEMENT.

I loved this coat so much had to get the bubble gum pink as well. There’s no doubt that I will definitely get more wear out of the camel colour as it is more my style and does go with everything. But this pink colour is just so much fun to brighten up any Winter wardrobe. I think this will look amazing at Christmas time over dresses and heels!

This pink teddy coat got so much attention on my Instagram and no wonder.. It really does make a statement and is for sure one of the best things I have in my Winter wardrobe. I felt so wrapped up, I felt like I was walking about in my dressing gown. Although these coats are pricier than your average Zara or Topshop coat, these are an investment. I will be pulling these out every Winter. House Of Skylar really are providing the best outerwear this season.
