MARBELLA OUTFIT DIARY
Finally back in Marbella, Spain after one of my favourite summer holiday's last year - click here to read all about last years trip. This year was a lot more relaxed and I got to explore the area much more. I love Marbella because it can either be super relaxed like this years holiday or an amazing place for a party trip with your friends like how we done it last year.
SHEIN BLUE & WHITE RUFFLED DRESS - CLICK HERE
How beautiful are these views? Everything is so blue and calm in Marbella, after seeing this rocky walkway from the streets of Puerto Banus I just had to walk out to see the views and take some pictures. We sat for a while and watched the boats go by, it's also right on a beach but sand is a no go in trainers..and when your dressed for dinner!
This dress from Shein (which is currently 50% off ) is definitely one of my new favourite additions to my summer wardrobe. I am obsessed with frills and stripes right now especially for being abroad. The light blue colour also matches the beautiful scenery perfectly.
We were going for quite an early dinner this night so I decided to style this cute dress down with my Gucci trainers. I'll definitely be wearing this dress again sometime time soon with some high strappy sandals for a fancier occasion.
LEVI WEDGIE JEANS - NUDE STRAPPY SANDALS (SIMILAR) - STRAPLESS BODYSUIT - LOUIS VUITTON BAG
I am so excited that I have FINALLY found my dream pair of jeans!!! After allllways sticking to skinny fit jeans/leather trousers as my go-to as I felt I have never suited a light wash denim or a baggier/mom fit style I came across these Levi Wedgie Jeans that a friend had!
These are amazing- I love the colour, the fit and the little frayed edges at the bottom although I wouldn't buy these if you are tall..I am around 5,4" and they are already just above my ankle and they don't come in longer sizes unfortunately but on the website you can see that the model is wearing them quite short..to me I think this looks a bit weird but maybe that's the look that Levi are going for.
The high waist on these jeans also means I can wear them with cute little tops and bralets all summer long..theres nothing worse than your midriff on show or having lots of short tops but nothing to wear them with! The high waist also gives you the ultimate bum lift...not complaining.
Although Levi jeans are a bit more pricy compared to your average pair of jeans I feel like they were such a good investment as I have no doubt that I'll be wearing these all summer long in Glasgow, they can be styled in so many ways!
I'm obsessing over statement earrings recently and how amazing are these bold gold hoops my mum passed down to me? She hasn't worn them in years as they are too heavy for her but I am loving thick hoops at the moment, they complete any simple outfit and had me feeling all Summery and Spanish!
BLACK CROP TOP (SIMILAR) - WHITE TROUSERS - PEARL SANDALS (SIMILAR) - YSL BLOGGER BAG
After a day of shopping I had two of my new purchases on for night-time! The shops in Marbella are so so good compared to back home. The Zara is huge and has everything way before back home does. I picked up these adorable pearl sliders and I am so obsessed with them. They currently aren't in the Zara in the UK but I have linked a really similar pair that I was contemplating between when purchasing these.
H&M, Bershka and Pull & Bear are also so good in Spain, I picked up a lot of swimwear in H&M including this cute leopard print swimsuit..an upgrade on my swimsuit obsession from last year! Click here to shop.
The top I'm wearing here is from Pull & Bear and I styled it with my summer go-to white trousers from Zara to create a monochrome summer look! I love wearing black in Summer and if you add some cream/white it brings your tan out so well!
Theres something I love about wearing black on holiday especially in Europe..this dress has a little bandeau attached to it and the crochet material makes it look summery for a day-time look on a hot day!
I styled this dress with my Chanel espadrilles which I have worn so much this holiday and my Louis Vuitton Pochette Metis.
PRETTY LAVISH WHITE CO-ORD SET
Friday night at La Sala meant pulling out the most formal thing I packed..and to be honest that wasn't a lot, I only packed one pair of heels as I knew most nights would be really chilled and casual.
This dreamy co-ord set from Pretty Lavish was the perfect outfit to wear. I have been obsessing over white suit jackets and suit trousers this summer and these trousers are amaaazing, they swish when you walk as the material is so thick and luxurious but it still looks light-weight when wearing them.
Off the shoulder on holiday is one of my favourite looks to show off your summer glow.. This floaty style top can be worn with so many other things from jeans, shorts and skirts. The good thing about a co-ord is you can wear it separately too and get lots of wear out of it! I can't wait to wear this outfit again I love it!
TWEED CARDIGAN (SIMILAR) - GREY SLIP DRESS - CHANEL ESPADRILLES
Casual but chic in this Motel Rocks grey slip dress and a tweed/frayed cream, silver and gold cardigan jacket that I have had for years and only just pulled out again.
I hate throwing things away for that reason, I never would have worn this jacket last Summer but I love it this Summer and is on trend with all the tweed blazers that are out right now...excuses for hoarding.
Although I always love wearing my hair down this night I was just feeling really warm and wanted to be as cool as possible when walking down the beach to dinner, so I wore my hair in a middle parted pony tail and added some hoop earrings. A quick and simple pony tail can look formal and put together by adding curls..night-out ready!
