Off to a VIP bloggers lunch at the Bothwell Bridge Hotel followed by the Eleganza Sposa fashion show with amazing weddings gowns and occasion wear..all I can say is wow- everyone needs to check out their boutique in Glasgow if you have a big event coming up this is the perfect place to find that special dress!

  Trying to put together an outfit thats not too formal for a Sunday lunch but smart and stylish enough for a fashion show was quite tricky..I decided that I would go for something casual but cute for this day-time event. I am sorry to whoever I offend with my bare legs today..but I find tights much more offensive! Tights are a no go for me- even in freezing conditions (snow for that matter)! I feel every-time I wear them, they take the focus away from my outfit, and I love this little grey Zara co-ord set so much I just didn't want to risk it.

If the rest of your outfit is cosy and warm then you still look dressed for Winter so don't worry about ditching your tights..just make sure your legs are glowing and moisturised as theres nothing worse than dry dull skin! Bare legs and ankle boots will be making a lot of appearances on my blog this Winter..wether they are worn with dresses, skirts or long coats, I just love this trend so much. 

I'm obsessed with these new Topshop booties that I picked up this week, I love how they are tight up my legs to give that sock effect..they are definitely my new favourites for wearing with bare legs throughout Winter! As for accessories, I kept it classic; I wore my Céline belt bag, Rayban refelctive sunglasses & subtle silver jewellery.. 

Sometimes simple outfits are the best ones...
